We Love Green Festival - 08/06/25

While working my notice through to redundancy several months ago, I began to make plans for the near future. With full-time work off the table for a few months, I was at liberty to do what I wanted (within financial means - kinda). One such impulsive escape that I booked back in January was the We Love Green festival in Paris. I was swayed by Magdalena Bay and Charli XCX, and a trip to Paris wasn't exactly unappealing.
I never fancied myself to be a festival person, but in recent months I've become addicted to booking gigs. Part of the appeal of We Love Green was the lack of camping, a decision made as part of the festival's eco-friendly stance, not to mention the fact that everyone had to go back and shower after each day (mercifully).
I'm rambling a lot, but the festival was really great. From the encouragement to recycle cups, bowls, and cutlery to the gorgeous Bois de Vincennes park in which the festival takes place, it was a really refreshing experience.
Magdalena Bay and Charli were awesome, as expected, but other highlights were Bicep, Miki, HorsegiirL, FKA Twigs, Gesaffelstein, Isabella Lovestory, Kavinsky, and honestly loads more.
I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to do a festival outside of the UK - especially after doing LIDO the following Saturday in London, which was as messy and disorganised as it was fun, which is to say a lot...to both.
Anyway, enough of the spiel - photos. I took a disposable camera to the festival on its final day; a type of camera I haven't played around with in some time. You can see this in the fact that a portion of my finger is covering several photos(!!!) I've included some pictures from my walk to the festival, as the surrounding Fontenay-sous-Bois area, in which I stayed, is gorgeous.
Everything was shot on Kodak FunSaver, using an ISO of...I have no idea. Whatever, the pictures came out great(ish).
